“Through bold, contrasting color, slightly exaggerated perspective and active, immediate brushstrokes, I attempt to express the life, movement, color and feel of a city I’ve enjoyed and called home for over 20 years now – San Francisco. Carving out images with minimal brushstrokes, allowing paint to mix in ways only possible when not labored over, I focus on scenes from which I just couldn’t walk away.

My inspiration also comes from the people, cultures, scenery and stories I’ve experienced through travel to a variety of locations around the world. Traveling is a big part of what keeps my passion for art alive and growing. It’s also a great way to come back home and see things with fresh eyes.”
