Views of San Francisco

Christine Miller High (1911-2010) painted these San Francisco views  in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. These historic scenes reveal a bygone era, deftly painted plein air.

In 1935 Christine Miller was awarded a prize at The Arts and Interests Exhibition at the Toronto Art Gallery (renamed Art Gallery of Ontario in 1966).
