Christine Miller High

Waterfront – Historic Bay Scenes

Christine Miller High (1911-2010) painted these San Francisco and Sauasalito waterfront views  in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. These historic scenes reveal an yet-to-be-developed, working, waterfront.

In 1935 Christine Miller was awarded a prize at The Arts and Interests Exhibition at the Toronto Art Gallery (renamed Art Gallery of Ontario in 1966).
