ARTIST STATEMENT

The raindrops series uses paperback books dipped in archival ink, which are then arranged into circular shapes. This exposes organic patterns within the ink, that sit against a backdrop of structured geometry. The pieces are coated with UV resin, providing another contrast to the softness of the paper and ink.
